Life on the Edge of the Lake

Life of the Edge of the Lake - White River National Park, CO

This is such a spectacular place. The two peaks of Maroon Bells in the Elk Mountains of White River National Park are just over 14,000 ft. They loom over Maroon Lake and this is truly one of the most photogenic locations in the U. S., if not the world. I regularly think about going back and soaking up the scene in different seasons. I might have to dust off an old pair of snow shoes and trek up there in the winter! Or, maybe wait until warmer weather.
