Wind Swept

Wind Swept - Page, AZ

Wind is a powerful force. It is invisible yet able to take down trees and reshape the land. For millennia the constant wind would remove grain by grain the sandstone that stood in its way. As it carried this sand across the landscape, it in turn would reshape more stone it crossed. This wind and sand battered this hill and formed the hoodoos and channels in the surface to create the distinct wave patterns. This slow and deliberate work is the magical art of nature.
