Twilight Dancer

Twilight Dancer - Yosemite National Park

After many years, I finally made it back to Yosemite National Park and made my first trip to Glacier Point. This is truly the most spectacular spot for looking out over the Valley and the majestic Half Dome. As the sun began to set on a cloudless evening, I hoped for something special. I was not disappointed as the valley below faded into a deep blue, the mountain tops in the distance were bathed in pink and Half Dome turned orange. What a sight! As the crowds faded, I took my spot by this crazy tree trunk that resembled a dancer glorifying the amazing vista. Unforgettable moment.
